About The Position

Gaul Marble & Granite is a stone fabrication company focused on quality craftsmanship and efficient production. We are looking for someone experienced with saw programming and operation to run our Prussiani Cut & Jet saw. We need someone who can take drawings, turn them into clean, efficient programs, and consistently produce quality work. If you take pride in your craft and like owning your work from start to finish, you'll fit in well here. We are seeking a long-term team member and prefer candidates who are interested in growing with the company for at least two years.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in stone fabrication, CNC programming, or similar
• Comfortable programming and running saws (Prussiani experience is a big plus)
• Experience with Easy Stone CAD CAM
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Prussiani experience is a big plus

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate the saw jet machine
• Interpret shop drawings and create efficient cut programs
• Optimize layouts to reduce material waste
• Inspect slabs for defects and adjust as needed
• Keeping cuts accurate and quality consistent
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Meet production schedules and resolve workflow issues
• Assist and support less experienced team members
