3rd Shift CNC Router Operator
About The Position
The 3rd Shift CNC Router Operator sets up and operates the CNC Router machine, loading raw materials for cutting and ensuring smooth, accurate operation. The role performs daily work with minimal supervision according to Tiara Yachts work instructions, maintains equipment through preventive maintenance, and keeps daily labor tracking records. The operator may also help train team members and performs other related duties as assigned by a supervisor or management. The position requires communicating product, process, or material constraints and issues to the team leader, and communicating with programmers when troubleshooting machine malfunctions. The operator must follow manufacturing instructions and company safety guidelines, promote a safe and clean work environment, and use required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.
- Ability to follow manufacturing instructions and understand processes.
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
- Ability to work overtime as requested.
- Must follow required PPE policies, including use of safety glasses or goggles and hearing protection as applicable.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, use hands, and work with various materials for extended periods.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the CNC Router machine.
- Load raw materials into the CNC machine for cutting.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and communicate with programmers.

- Read and understand units of measure.
- Communicate current product, process, or material constraints or issues to the team leader.
- Assist with training team members when asked.
- Maintain daily labor tracking records.
- Promote a safe and clean work environment and follow company safety guidelines and required PPE policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.
