About The Position

This role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and safety. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, collaborate with the maintenance team, and assist in the installation of new equipment. The position requires a strong understanding of CNC machine controls, electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role also emphasizes adherence to safety and quality guidelines, documentation of maintenance activities, and participation in ongoing training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services/Troubleshooting experience required.
  • Good understanding of the technical features of CNC machines controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity and proven use of a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, wiring, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

  • Additional technical training or certification in electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, including wiring, circuits, switches, and outlets.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address and resolve facility-wide issues and improvements.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance and emergency repairs, including after hours.
  • Perform installation and upgrades to equipment and special projects.
  • Work with the Maintenance team to maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies.
  • Perform a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment.
  • Complete and document maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
  • Champion facility goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Innovation and Cost.
  • Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business units.
  • Ensure regular attendance and timeliness.
