Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years field knowledge as a multi-craft technician in the following fields: CNC Repair, Mechanics, Industrial Electrical systems, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and PLC.
Strong repair background.
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings (e.g., blueprints, manuals, wiring diagrams etc.).
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to stand for several hours.
Ability to lift 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or similar 2-year technical degree in a related field preferred not required.

Responsibilities

Repairing and maintaining complex CNC machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment for manufacturing medical and firearm components.
Ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
Changing ball screws, guide rails, and aligning spindles using indicators.
Troubleshooting issues & performing all repair, modifications, adjustments, and preventive/predictive and routine maintenance on production equipment- CNC machines (i.e., Tornos Deco2000).
Troubleshooting issues and repairing failures of production equipment.
Performing Electrical Repairs and / or replacement of control devices, including circuit boards and memory devices.
Assisting Operations with analyzing deviations and definition of machine related corrective actions.
Initiating repairs and modifications as a function of Continuous Improvement and process stability (e.g., 5S and Preventive Maintenance).
Controlling spare parts inventory stock.
Supporting all aspects of building maintenance/routine shop preventive maintenance as needed.
Monitoring and maintaining environmental, health and safety equipment and systems for both production and non-production equipment as directed.
