This role involves performing all phases of part machining, including cost estimating, reviewing technical data, defining processes, identifying tooling and fixture requirements, developing and implementing CNC files, setting up machines, performing rough and finish machining, and identifying machine tool requirements. The position also includes shop layout planning and providing support to Project Managers or engineering personnel in areas such as scheduling, data gathering, report preparation, and participating in test or project events. The CNC Programmer will also be responsible for CAD development and modeling of fixturing, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, troubleshooting machining issues, supporting technicians, and mentoring other personnel. Other duties as assigned.
