About The Position

The CNC Programmer will create manufacturing methods, CNC programs and all related items to produce a quality part using a repeatable process. This role requires a strong understanding of machining, programming, and manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams, ensure manufacturability, and maintain documentation. This position also requires adherence to U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR).

Requirements

5+ Years Machining experience
3-5 Years Machine Programming experience
Excellent computer skills-proficient in MS Excel and Word
Must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
Candidates must be eligible for employment in the US and meet the requirements of ITAR.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

Review and sign off engineering drawings for EO changes and parts for new product.
Write G-Code and conversational programs for CNC lathes, CNC mills and multi-axis CNC machines.
Provide tool lists and necessary setup documentation to operators for successful part creation.
Design simple fixtures, form cutting tools and manufacturing aides and working with teammates in the appropriate area for on time completion.
Provide coaching and technical support for program prove out and manufacturing challenges.
Develop the proper process to create parts from raw material or modify existing inventory and maintain part routing in ERP system.
Collaborate with sales and engineering to determine manufacturability of prototypes and future design.
Understand proper inspection methods and quality gaging.
Utilize and create documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki.
