Kaspar Outdoors is seeking a CNC Programmer who enjoys improving machining processes and optimizing CNC performance. This role is responsible for creating, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for production parts across milling and turning platforms. Requirements

• 4–8 years of CNC programming experience in a production environment
• Proven experience programming both mills and lathes
• Experience improving cycle times and program efficiency
• Hands-on setup and prove-out experience
• Strong experience with CNC milling and turning
• Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAM software
• Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Strong troubleshooting mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software
• Develop efficient toolpaths, speeds/feeds, and workholding strategies
• Support initial setups and prove-out of new programs on the floor
• Diagnose and resolve machining issues related to tooling, programs, or setup
• Implement mistake-proofing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and improve tool life
• All other duties as assigned by management
