CNC Programmer
About The Position
The CNC Programmer is focused on entering all custom patterns into the CAD system for production, interpreting and entering sketches to be produced, assisting with scheduling, and supporting team members. This role reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. This position is ideal for a self-driven, organized, and quality-focused individual, offering an opportunity to build a career within the Production Administration Department at OBE, an industry leader. OBE contributes architectural glass and building products to various projects globally, operating over 80 manufacturing and distribution facilities in five countries with more than 6,500 employees.
Requirements
- Auto-CAD (2005 or later) Training Certificate with 2-4 years of work experience
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as the ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software
- Must have high mathematic and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure (millimeters and inches)
- Accuracy in data entry
- Must be highly detail oriented and can solve problems with minimal guidance
- Self-starter, motivated with ability to complete projects on time
Responsibilities
