As a CNC Programmer, you will transform engineering prints into accurately machined parts, drive efficiency and quality across CNC equipment operations, work independently with cutting-edge technology, and serve as a crucial component of our advanced manufacturing team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on machining experience
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC programming experience
- Proven ability to machine parts accurately according to print specifications
- Good computer skills, including proficiency with CAD/CAM software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and consistently follow operational guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Technical school diploma or equivalent certification in CNC Machining/Programming preferred
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machinery to produce parts accurately from prints and verbal instructions
- Set up and operate CNC machines independently with minimal supervision
- Perform basic operations on manual machinery as required
- Assist in the efficient set-up of CNC equipment for production runs
- Interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings, and specifications
- Utilize various CAD/CAM software effectively for part programming and optimization
- Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
