Work directly with machinists during setup and production runs to ensure successful program implementation. Assist with machine setup verification, first-piece inspections, and process validation. Investigate machining problems and implement corrective actions. Recommend tooling, fixturing, and process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. Develop and deliver training programs for machinists related to CNC programming, machine operation, tooling, and manufacturing best practices. Mentor machinists and operators on efficient machining techniques and process optimization. Create and maintain work instructions, setup sheets, and training documentation. Promote continuous learning and technical development within the manufacturing team. Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency, reduce scrap, and increase throughput. Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in standardizing programming practices and shop procedures. Support quality and safety objectives by adhering to company policies and industry standards.
