CNC Programmer Savage, MN (Custom Woodwork MFG)
About The Position
This well-established commercial cabinet/casework company is actively seeking a qualified CNC Programmer to join their team. The CNC Programmer will focus on CNC programming, production planning, material takeoffs, and production documents. In this role, your engineering skills will combine with efforts from the Vice President of Operations, Engineering Team, Project Management / Designers, and other team members to build casework and millwork products in a timely, organized, and high-quality manner. Previous experience with casework / millwork / woodwork engineering and CNC background is key.
Requirements
- Minimum experience of 2-3 years in Custom Casework, Woodowork and or Store Fixture MFG
- Well organized, detailed and collaborative working traits are a MUST!
- Minimum 1 year experience in production software
- Strong communication skills and a team attitude.
- Fluency in AutoCAD is a MUST!
Nice To Haves
- CutRite, Revit and Excel experience is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Managing multiple projects and meeting fast paced deadlines
- Attend Hand Off meetings with Project Managers for new projects
- Prepare material takeoffs, project machining programs and cut lists
- Review and handing off all programs and cut lists to plant personnel
- Working with Project Managers to review project for production buildability
