About The Position
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings, processing CAD files, and programming our steel processing machines using specialized nesting software. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals interested in manufacturing technology and steel fabrication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CAD software
- Background in manufacturing or steel fabrication
- Knowledge of CNC machinery and programming concepts
Responsibilities
- Review and verify shop drawings against bills of materials
- Import CAD files from the detailing department into nesting software
- Create and optimize machine programs using nesting software
- Send completed programs to manufacturing equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming activities through the MRP system
- Collaborate with detailing and production departments
