About The Position

Bearon, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our team in Landisville, PA! You will play a critical role in producing high-quality precision metal components. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC Horizontal, Vertical, Lathe, and 5-Axis machines using Mastercam to meet exact drawing specifications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who can proactively identify machining issues, make precise adjustments, and uphold our high standards for safety and quality. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment, with a minimum of 2–3 years specifically dedicated to CNC programming and setup.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven background in CAM programming and Mastercam.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints.
  • Proficiency in applying shop mathematics and utilizing standard measuring and hand tools.
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, a team-player mindset, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary standing position for the duration of an 8-hour shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 70 pounds throughout the course of a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator, Programmer/Operator, or Set-up Operator is highly preferred.
  • Completion of a relevant trade or technical school program is a strong plus.
  • Experience in 3D milling is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Program CNC Horizontal, Vertical, Lathe, and 5-Axis machines using Mastercam.
  • Troubleshoot programming and machining issues during the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform rigorous quality control checks and inspect products to ensure strict adherence to technical blueprints and ISO Standards.
  • Monitor equipment operations, recognize machining abnormalities, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team, maintaining flexibility with rotating assignments.
  • Actively participate in required training, demonstrate a continuous willingness to learn, and assist in training team members as appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your co-workers.
