About The Position

Bearon, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our team in Landisville, PA! You will play a critical role in producing high-quality precision metal components. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC Horizontal, Vertical, Lathe, and 5-Axis machines using Mastercam to meet exact drawing specifications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who can proactively identify machining issues, make precise adjustments, and uphold our high standards for safety and quality. Requirements

3–5 years of hands-on experience in a machine shop environment, with a minimum of 2–3 years specifically dedicated to CNC programming and setup.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Proven background in CAM programming and Mastercam.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints.
Proficiency in applying shop mathematics and utilizing standard measuring and hand tools.
Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, a team-player mindset, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
Ability to remain in a stationary standing position for the duration of an 8-hour shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 70 pounds throughout the course of a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a CNC Operator, Programmer/Operator, or Set-up Operator is highly preferred.
Completion of a relevant trade or technical school program is a strong plus.
Experience in 3D milling is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Program CNC Horizontal, Vertical, Lathe, and 5-Axis machines using Mastercam.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues during the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Perform rigorous quality control checks and inspect products to ensure strict adherence to technical blueprints and ISO Standards.
Monitor equipment operations, recognize machining abnormalities, and make necessary adjustments.
Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team, maintaining flexibility with rotating assignments.
Actively participate in required training, demonstrate a continuous willingness to learn, and assist in training team members as appropriate.
Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your co-workers.
