We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist role at our site in Charleston, TN.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; CNC machining certificate from accredited institution or a minimum of relevant 5 years of experience in lieu of certification.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Develop 3 axis CNC programs using 3D models and CAD software (Mastercam, Inventor, Fusion, Solidworks).
  • Build fixtures, select cutters/tools, and process parts as needed.
  • Use common inspection equipment.
  • Provide estimated cycle time, material, tooling or fixturing requirements for each job.
  • Design prototype and custom components to solve issues with plant equipment.
  • Enter time spent on tasks into SAP.
  • Clean machine shop.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent unrestricted basis.

Responsibilities

  • Producing high-quality, precision-machined components that support plant operations and maintenance across the Charleston site.
  • Developing and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam.
  • Setting up and operating both manual and CNC machining equipment.
  • Fabricating parts to tight tolerances based on engineering drawings and 3D models.
  • Supporting manufacturing process planning, fixture design, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Working closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to deliver reliable, accurate components that support continuous plant performance.
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machines.
  • Utilize various CAD software to create models and tool paths.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and ensure all the produced parts are in tolerance.
  • Select tooling and keep track of tooling inventory.
  • Clean machines and machine shop when tasks are complete.
  • Clean and check machine fluid levels, Change coolant.
