This role involves writing CNC programs and creating setup sheets for CNC equipment across multiple facilities. The programmer will review machining processes to ensure optimal program, set-up, and machine efficiency, considering factory flow, throughput, quality, and cost. Responsibilities include evaluating part geometry for improvements, completing engineering orders, collaborating with various departments, and assisting with software and hardware maintenance and design. The role also requires research into raw materials, offal utilization, and new material testing, as well as assisting with the design and development of CNC equipment and tooling. Continuous learning about software and hardware, maintaining databases, and managing projects are key aspects of this position. The programmer will also research and respond to suggestions submitted to the IDEA Network and demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values.
