About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to lead the operation of our CNC Press Brake and Laser Cutting equipment. This role is central to our production process, responsible for creating high‑precision sheet metal components used in custom-built machinery.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes and/or laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of bend allowances, bend deductions, and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 10-hour shifts, and perform repetitive physical tasks safely.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutters and press brakes to cut and form steel, aluminum, and stainless sheet metal to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, fabrication drawings, and flat patterns to determine machine setup, bend sequences, and part requirements.
- Inspect parts throughout production using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other precision tools to maintain tight tolerances.
- Safely load and unload heavy sheet metal, perform basic daily machine maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
