Operations flags a 3‑axis VMC throwing intermittent alarms. You pull the electrical and hydraulic schematics, trace signals through the PLC, and verify a VFD parameter set. By mid‑morning, you’ve aligned a spindle, rebuilt a worn assembly, and drafted a preliminary schematic update for final CAD. After lunch, you coordinate with another trade to rewire a control panel to National Electrical Code standards, source replacement parts, and estimate labor and materials for a scheduled retrofit. Before clocking out, you help the team with a facilities task—snow removal at an entrance—and log your work to quality documents and manufacturing instructions.
