PLC Maintenance Technician

JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURELancaster, CA
7d$75,000 - $95,000Onsite

About The Position

As a PLC Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by keeping our production equipment running safely and reliably. This role is a hands-on industrial maintenance position that includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment installs, and repairs. A major part of this role includes working with equipment involving PLCs and VFDs, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and making repairs. While you’ll work around PLC-controlled systems often, this is not a PLC programming role—we’re looking for a technician who can keep the equipment running, minimize downtime, and support production success. Like you, our founder, Don Jensen was looking for a way to support his family, so he started his company in 1968. Since its founding, we’ve supported communities across Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington, Missouri and Hawaii. Jensen likely impacts your daily life. We build culverts to drain water from your neighborhoods, underground utility boxes to hold cables, and manholes to allow workers access to the sewers deep below the roads we drive on. And that’s just a small sample of what we do at Jensen daily. When you work at one of Jensen’s many locations, you will enjoy the close relationships and camaraderie of a small company while being part of a larger, well-established, growing company. We are committed to ensuring employment practices that promote equal opportunities. Please let us know if you require any reasonable accommodation during your interview. We consider the wide variety of factors in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
