CNC Operator 1st Shift
About The Position
Premier Aluminum is hiring a CNC Operator to produce machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines and performing standard, progressive machining operations to close tolerances. The operator changes tools and assists with or performs standard setups. Programs and setups are generally proved, made, and maintained by others. This is a first-shift position working 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Base pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on relevant experience. Employees are eligible for a $250 monthly bonus based on attendance and safety, and a 90-day review with an opportunity for a performance-based pay increase. Requirements
- Machining fundamentals and basic machine operation skills.
- Shop arithmetic.
- Print reading and measuring procedures.

Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and other machines according to detailed instructions and standard, repetitive operating sequences.
- Perform drilling, boring, milling, turning, and balancing as required.
- Work from detailed process instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments or limit gauges to check machine positioning.
- Inspect work for quality.
- Meet the production rate for each part while maintaining quality.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Care for equipment and perform basic maintenance.
- Assist other operators as needed.
- Recognize personal capabilities and take initiative to continually improve.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
