About The Position

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating EDM machines, inspecting parts, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires adherence to company safety and quality standards, and the ability to follow setup instructions and interpret blueprints. The position is an at-will employment opportunity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating CNC EDM machines, including FANUC Robocut Wire EDM, preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
• Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

• Experience operating CNC EDM machines, including FANUC Robocut Wire EDM

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines within the department.
• Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
• Continuously monitor equipment and tooling.
• Notify department manager in the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process.
• Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
