Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in operation and set-up of machining centers and lathes
• 1-3 years experience in tooling change-overs, building up tools and touching off tooling
• 1-3 years experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without assistance

Nice To Haves

• Experience setting up Gear Shapers
• Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement

Responsibilities

• Operation and set-up of machining centers and lathes
• Ability to change and maintain tooling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
• Ability to read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
• Basic knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards
• Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturing
• Able to meet specific deadlines
• Interface with all departments and levels of management
