About The Position
As a Machine Operator, you will run repeat proven parts with low to intermediate complexity. You will receive direction and will be overseen by the area Lead, Supervisor, or qualified area Machinist.
Requirements
- 3 plus years’ experience
- Ability to speak basic English language
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Responsibilities
- Utilizing shop paper procedures including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities
- Ensuring an accurate router accompanies all work orders
- Inspecting and measuring parts as needed, and completing in-process inspections. For any discrepancies notify supervision.
- Assisting Lead person as needed
- Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Alerting Lead or Supervisor to any issue(s) on job or machine.
- Meeting job standard times consistently and communicating to lead or supervisor when not able to make times.
- Cleaning and maintaining machines, working area, tooling and parts in optimal production condition.
- Ensuring company procedures and “best machine practices” are always followed and are in place
- Complying with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices
- Performing additional related duties as assigned
