About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Machinist for a full-time day-shift opportunity in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a hands-on position in a job shop environment, not a production shop, and requires an experienced machinist who can independently set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling equipment to perform precision machining operations. The CNC Operator will perform end-to-end machining work, including interpreting engineering drawings, determining machining sequences, selecting appropriate tooling and materials, setting up machines, monitoring feeds and speeds, making in-process adjustments, and verifying finished parts against required dimensions and tolerances. The ideal candidate brings significant hands-on CNC machining experience and a strong understanding of the setup and operation of CNC milling centers. Experience with Haas CNC Milling Centers is particularly valuable for this position. This role requires a self-directed machinist who can work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with the shop team.
