We're hiring the best engineers, designers, and builders to solve the hardest problem in America. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure and other standard measuring instruments.
  • Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using calipers and other precision measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with G-code or CNC programming basics.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
  • Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects or deviations.
  • Operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning of machines, tools, and the surrounding workspace.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA guidelines at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
