About The Position

Great opportunity for someone looking to grow their machining career. We are looking for dependable individuals with at least 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience. CNC experience is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience required
Basic blueprint reading skills required
Ability to stand for entire shift
Must pass a drug test

Nice To Haves

Basic machine setup experience preferred
CNC experience preferred, but not required
Stable work history preferred

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines
Perform basic machine setups and adjustments
Load/unload parts and materials
Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools
Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.
Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished workpiece dimensions, or numerical control sequences.
Remove and replace dull cutting tools.
Stack or load finished items, or place items on conveyor systems.
