About The Position

This position involves operating Fadal CNC machining centers with Fanuc controls. The role includes loading and unloading materials, interpreting blueprints, verifying dimensions with precision instruments, monitoring machine operations, and inspecting finished parts. The operator will also maintain production records, perform routine maintenance, and adhere to safety and 5S principles. The job requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and sit for extended periods, with potential lifting up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic understanding of Fanuc controls and CNC machining operations.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, and geometry.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous CNC machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate Fadal CNC machining centers with Fanuc controls.
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets.
Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor machine operations and make approved tool wear offset adjustments as required.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Maintain production records and report machine or quality issues to supervision.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance activities.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
