About The Position

WAF - Crookston is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, motivated CNC Operator to join our Machine Shop on 1st shift! Whether you have CNC experience or are ready to learn something new, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! This role involves operating CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications, monitoring machine operations and making adjustments as needed, inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards, following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, and working with team members to meet production goals and keep things running smoothly.

Use basic shop tools, lifting devices and measuring devices
Use basic shop math
Read and understand work instructions written in English
Ability to hear and distinguish between normal and abnormal noises
Hand dexterity to manipulate small gauges, knobs and controls
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8 – 10 hours)
Ability to repeatedly and frequently lift up to 50lbs unassisted

Nice To Haves

CNC or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person!
Technical training in CNC Operation or machining.
Previous Machine Shop experience.
