About The Position
The CNC Operator will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to operate HAAS CNC mills and Bridgeport manual milling machine to produce a reliable, airworthy product while providing the highest quality of workmanship.
Requirements
- Experienced as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling
- Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Detailed with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Technical degree or CNC machining certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and CAD designs
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
