About The Position

CompX National is hiring a CNC Set-Up / Operator for our second shift. This role involves setting up and operating key groovers and escomatics, learning to read blueprints and use measuring equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The operator will use hand tools as required and maintain good housekeeping in their work area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Frequently able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Manufacturing and multiple machines is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate in a department of key groovers and escomatics.
• Learn to read and understand blueprints and measuring equipment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment around oil, coolant and metal chips.
• Use hand tools as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization in work area.
