About The Position

Bearon, a proud affiliate of The Dixon Group, is looking for a CNC Operator II to join our team in Landisville, PA! Whether you are an experienced machinist or looking to start a new career path, we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. You will learn to operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspect products to ensure they meet detailed drawing specifications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in basic shop mathematics and measuring tools.
  • An excellent attendance record and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • A careful eye for detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard.
  • A genuine willingness to learn new things and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a trade school program in mechanics, automotive, or manufacturing is a plus!
  • 3+ years of previous experience as a CNC Operator, Machine Operator, or Mechanic in a metal manufacturing or fabrication shop is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run CNC machines (mills and lathes) to produce precision metal components safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect manufactured products to ensure they meet detailed drawing specifications and quality standards.
  • Recognize machining issues, make necessary adjustments to equipment, and perform daily preventative maintenance.
  • Work with blueprints and utilize shop mathematics to guide your daily tasks.
  • Safely and accurately operate hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Actively participate in training to learn Bearon’s specific machining processes and develop your programming skills.
  • Rotate through varying assignments, including manual operations and assembly, as production needs dictate.
