This role is specifically within the Carbide Pressing division in Bedford, PA, operating on the 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM, Sunday - Thursday). The CNC Operator I is responsible for the daily setup, maintenance, operation, and running of EP 30 Pressing Machine presses, which are numerically controlled (NC) and equipped with robotics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Operating complex production equipment and tools in a team environment safely for the manufacture and packaging of various products.
• Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams, and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Executing equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustained production.
• Modifying existing equipment and assisting in the design of new equipment for continuous manufacturing process improvement.
• Providing quality control and conducting in-process production testing.
