About The Position
This role involves operating CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling. The operator will be responsible for preparing parts, loading materials, monitoring machine execution, and ensuring the quality of the finished product.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC operator
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints mechanical/engineering documents and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Must be able to setup and operate using Haas controller with tool and material probe
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and other specifications.
- Prep parts and load raw materials onto machinery.
- Perform test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect finished product using precision measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers, and gages.
- Communicate with Quality and Engineering department regarding non-conforming parts.
- Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Document the quality and quantity of the produced parts.
- Operation of Haas machinery, with 3+2 axis control
