About The Position

What You’ll Do Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical data Write, edit, and adjust CNC programs (G‑code / M‑code) using Mastercam, SolidWorks , or similar software Perform complex machining operations including milling, drilling, boring , and tight‑tolerance work Select, preset, and install cutting tools; calculate feeds, speeds, depths, and coolant flow Conduct prove‑outs and manual programming during setups Troubleshoot machine issues, program errors, tooling problems, and out‑of‑tolerance conditions Machine challenging materials including stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and plastics Inspect parts using precision gauges to ensure quality and regulatory compliance Train and induct operators after proven setups are complete Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with repairs as needed Maintain clear documentation and shift handoff notes Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and audit‑ready What We’re Looking For 7–10 years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience (or equivalent) Strong experience with Milling, Turning, and Swiss machining Advanced ability to read and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Proven experience adjusting programs and tooling independently Deep understanding of cutters, inserts, and tool selection based on material and tolerances Knowledge of G‑codes, M‑codes , and CAM software (Mastercam preferred) Experience in medical or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred Associate degree or technical training helpful—but experience matters most Strong communication skills and a calm, solution‑oriented mindset Shifts Available: 1st shift Salary Range: $38.00 - $42.00/hr based on experience

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience with Milling, Turning, and Swiss machining
  • Advanced ability to read and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Proven experience adjusting programs and tooling independently
  • Deep understanding of cutters, inserts, and tool selection based on material and tolerances
  • Knowledge of G‑codes, M‑codes , and CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, solution‑oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Associate degree or technical training helpful—but experience matters most
