About The Position

Delta Electronics is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer and Set Up Technician. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Programmer and Setup Technician, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) and G-code programming.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Candidate must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Nice To Haves

• DMG/Mori Seiki/HAAS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up CNC milling machines, including tooling and fixturing, to ensure efficient production runs.
• Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts to exacting tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards, using precision measuring tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups, programs, and production runs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
