About The Position

We're hiring on behalf of a growing custom machine builder that designs and manufactures specialized equipment for customers across North America. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Milling Operator & Programmer to their team. Candidates coming from custom machine builders, automation equipment manufacturers, tool & die shops, precision machining facilities, and OEM manufacturing environments will be highly successful.

Requirements

Technical diploma in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
3+ years of CNC Milling programming and operation experience
Strong Mastercam experience
Experience programming and operating Haas CNC Mills
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
Strong understanding of precision machining practices

Nice To Haves

Experience within custom machine building
Manual machining experience
AutoCAD exposure
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC Milling machines
Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications
Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies
Perform first-off inspections and quality checks
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times
Maintain setup sheets, tooling information, and production documentation
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams on custom machine-building projects
