About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist for our 1st shift operations. This role involves operating CNC multi-axis milling machines, setting up jobs, and working with challenging materials. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Exceptional mechanical ability
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to solve complex issues
- Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets
- Proficient in mathematics and able to use a calculator
- Ability to use Fanuc controls and make offsets as required by the program
- Ability to load part onto a fixture
- Ability to load parts and fixtures onto hoists and operate hoist to load part onto machine
- Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs at the machine
- Ability to read tool sheets and set up tools for use on a job or part
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing knowledge
- Ability to work within tight tolerances such as thousandths
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace or high precision manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience operating CNC multi-axis Milling machine
- Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment
- Familiarity with operation of Right-Angle Heads
- Good attitude and a willingness to learn a new trade or skill
Responsibilities
- Run 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and/or turning machines
- Run multiple machines simultaneously where possible/feasible
- Work with hard metals such as Inconel, Titanium and Stainless Steel
- Read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets
- Use Fanuc controls and make offsets as required by the program
- Load part onto a fixture
- Load parts and fixtures onto hoists and operate hoist to load part onto machine
- Read and interpret CNC Programs at the machine
- Read tool sheets and set up tools for use on a job or part

- Operate Right-Angle Heads
