The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis Milling equipment. This role involves reading and understanding process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets, and operation sheets to produce complex finished products. The machinist will also make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary, and accurately inspect work using various instruments. Daily TPM responsibilities, maintaining good housekeeping, and complying with safety regulations are also key aspects of this position. The role requires active participation in cross-training, cost-saving initiatives, and team activities to improve processes, while maintaining tact and diplomacy in interactions with colleagues and supervisors.
