CNC Mill Operator

OEM Manufacturing LLCMoraine, OH
Onsite

About The Position

The CNC Mill Operator is responsible for setting up and running CNC mills to produce precision parts that meet customer specifications. This role requires verifying the program, the setup, and the finished part before it moves on. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who takes ownership of their machine, catches problems early through dry runs and offsets, and communicates clearly with Team Leads and Quality when something needs attention. Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the discipline to inspect your own work every time. At Empower Manufacturing, we value operators who are curious, solutions-focused, and team-oriented — always willing to learn a new program or setup rather than stick to just one job.

Requirements

  • Previous CNC mill setup and operating experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and customer specifications.
  • Experience making machine offsets and basic program edits.
  • Ability to use standard precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment — micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers — to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Follow work orders, job instructions, and company procedures to maintain quality and productivity standards.
  • Follow all company safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
