About The Position
The CNC Mill Operator / Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC 3-axis vertical milling machines in a precision-driven manufacturing environment. This CNC Mill Operator / Machinist role involves setting up machines, working with Fanuc controls, and ensuring all parts meet strict quality specifications. The ideal CNC Mill Operator / Machinist has strong machining experience, understands GD&T, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CNC milling experience
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls and 3-axis vertical mills
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to set up machines, including tool heights and work offsets
- Experience using edge finders and precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to lift 40 lbs or more as needed
