As a Precision Manufacturing Technician (CNC), you'll work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality components used in passenger rail vehicles that connect communities across North America. Whether you're an experienced CNC operator or have a strong machining, fabrication, manufacturing, or trade school background, this role offers the opportunity to grow your skills while working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training, machining certificate, or trade school education is a plus.
  • Experience in machining, fabrication, manufacturing, production, CNC operation, or related skilled trades.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Comfortable using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • technical training, machining certificate, or trade school education is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC equipment and other precision manufacturing tools to create components used in rail transportation systems.
  • Read blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings to machine, modify, and repair parts to exact specifications.
  • Use advanced inspection equipment, including CMMs, FARO Arms, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product quality and accuracy.
  • Work alongside engineers, technicians, and production teams to solve manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
  • Support a safe, organized, and efficient production environment while contributing to products that move millions of people every day.
