About The Position

Productivity, Inc., a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with industrial maintenance experience and formal electrical training. This role involves supporting customers with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment, specifically CNC metalworking machines. The position requires local travel to customer sites throughout the Grand Junction area and the Western Slope region, with approximately 4-6 overnights per month.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
• Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro‑mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel locally throughout the Western Slope
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Fanuc experience helpful
• Mitsubishi experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
• Machine installations and setup
• Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
• Travel locally to customer sites, with 4–6 overnights per month
