The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. The machinist will monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency, and inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments. Collaboration with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues is also required, along with following relevant QMS processes and procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Experience in the aerospace industry, with specific machine brands like Kitamura, Mazak, and Grob, and 5-Axis experience are considered advantageous. The position offers various shifts including day, night, and weekend, with opportunities for overtime.
