About The Position

Allegion is seeking a CNC Machinist for their Technical Glass Products division in Snoqualmie, WA. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and machining production, prototype, and R&D parts and fixtures using materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This role involves working cross-functionally to ensure timely and quality delivery, operating and maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the programming team. The schedule is Monday – Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5+ years CNC machinist experience, preferably with 3 and 5 axis machines.
• Ability to program, setup and operate machine tools; CNC milling machine, CNC cutting, as well as conventional machines.
• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, G-code.
• Experience developing tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong math skills, analytical, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology, 2-year degree in Machine Technology or equivalent training preferred.
• Haas VF10 experience preferred.
• Experience manufacturing to ISO 9000 standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine precision parts for production and R&D utilizing a variety of machine tools.
• Measure and document the cost of producing parts relative to time and materials.
• Inspect own work and others using precision tools, comparators, etc.
• Maintain equipment and perform set up of machines; operate CNC machining & cutting equipment.
• Assist in the design of tooling and fixtures and collaborate with the programming team.
• Perform work in accordance with Quality Assurance Program policies and adhere to company safety policies.
• Work across multiple shifts when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
