About The Position

This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical documents, monitoring machine performance, making necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency, and inspecting parts using precision measuring instruments. The machinist will also collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, adhere to relevant QMS processes, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace industry
Experience with Kitamura, Mazak and Grob
5-Axis experience

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machine to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues
Follow relevant QMS processes and procedures (including work instructions)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
