Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience.
Crane/Forklift – In-house training provided to obtain certification
Proper use of Safety Equipment such as Safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
Proper use of tools such as Inside and Outside Micrometers, Depth Micrometer, Calipers, Bore Gages and other General Hand Tools

Nice To Haves

Prefer experience with CNC Machining.

Responsibilities

Operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and/or plastic parts
Makes tool adjustments to adhere to established specifications
Works from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts
Work is routine and machining is performed to ordinary tolerances
Requires basic knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in machining processes
Monitors work to ensure that machine is not malfunctioning
Performs housekeeping of machine and work area
Performs daily maintenance check of machine
Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion
