The CNC Machinist is responsible for programming, setup, and operation of CNC and manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and related machinery, to produce complex, high-precision components. This position requires a high level of technical skill in machining practices, blueprint interpretation, tooling selection, and process optimization. The Machinist is expected to independently take parts from print to finished product, including setup, prove-out, and verification, with minimal supervision. This role also directly supports production through tooling setups, equipment modifications, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance.
