About The Position

SyBridge Technologies is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing team at their Cullman facility. This role involves working with precision equipment to produce high-quality components in a collaborative manufacturing environment. The company utilizes cutting-edge digital technologies for product development, from design to production, and is North America's largest injection molding tooling platform and a leading digital manufacturer.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of related experience operating CNC machines.
  • Five (5) years' experience programming CNC machines.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required.
  • Ability to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working around varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and other manufacturing conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Lemoine and Power Mill software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Programming and operating a CNC machine to build tools using 3D models.
  • Importing, manipulating, and processing 3D models.
  • Machining steel with close attention to health and safety requirements.
  • Programming, setting up, and operating the CNC machine using Powermill and Lemoine software.
  • Machining mold plates, components, cores, and cavities.
  • Verifying dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments/probe to ensure first-time quality.
  • Completing checklists and reporting deviations from specified tolerances.
  • Maintaining continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Assisting in the repair of machine tools and parts, as needed.
  • Maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintaining equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and initiating repair work orders.
  • Participating in required meetings and training.
