About The Position

We are hiring experienced CNC Machinist to run jobs on CNC Lathes and Mills for first, second and weekend shifts. Compensation will depend on skillset and shift. You will be working with aluminum, some plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts. We have 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with OSB 300L Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub-spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4-Axis and 5-Axis and Lathes have bar feeders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Lathes and Mills
• Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions
• General knowledge of G-code and M-code
• Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CNC Okuma and HAAS a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
• Make adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances
• Work off of blueprints
• Accurately use shop math in checking parts
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
• Help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc as needed to keep parts moving
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records
• Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner
