CNC Machinist
About The Position
We’re hiring CNC Machinists to join our custom machining team. Our shop specializes in low-volume, high-mix production where machinists perform setups, changeovers, program adjustments, and precision inspection on automated CNC mills, lathes, and proprietary machining centers. You’ll work with blueprints, G-code, and precision measuring equipment while continuing to develop your technical skills in a modern manufacturing environment. Requirements
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience
- CNC setup and changeover experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience editing existing G-code
- Manual machining experience
- Machinist certification or technical degree
- Experience with automated machining cells
- Familiarity with robotics
- Experience in low-volume machining
Responsibilities
- Perform setups and changeovers on CNC machining centers.
- Interpret prints, dimensions, and GD&T requirements.
- Modify offsets and existing machine programs.
- Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Run automated CNC mills and lathes.
- Resolve machining issues and maintain part quality.
- Monitor robotic machining cells during production.
- Help reduce scrap and improve machining processes.
