About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for its client in Chesterfield, Michigan. The position involves machining weldments and prototype parts with precision and efficiency, operating and programming Haas equipment, and using Mastercam for programming. Candidates must be able to create and maintain CNC programs through a Haas controller, set up and reset jobs, read blueprints, and use standard measurement equipment. The role requires recent, dedicated Haas experience, with CNC machining and programming as the candidate’s main responsibility. The position is on first shift, with weekday schedules of either 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; Saturday work from 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. may be needed. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience on Haas equipment.
• Recent, dedicated CNC experience, with CNC machining as the candidate’s main responsibility.
• Ability to create and maintain CNC programs via a Haas controller.
• Ability to set up and reset jobs.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use and understand standard measurement equipment.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds without assistance.
• Comfort working in an ever-changing environment.
